I know. I only did two post this month instead of one each week. I have a good excuse though. I have been eyeballs deep in Divine Games this month. I want to get the 2nd draft done and ready for a read through by the end of December.
So, unfortunately I have totally blanked out what I had planned on doing this month and didn’t do more than the two I have already posted.
DIVINE GAMES
Speaking of Divine Games, I have been spending this week working on backstories and some history that I need for my own information. I realized I shorted myself on some of the world building and history of my characters and that is needed to get certain points and feelings across on the page.
Izara and Joran deserve to be showcased. So I am fixing that problem. I also have some thoughts on doing a novella on each of the MC’s. Their life before Divine Games is touched on but I would love to show it separately. Both characters have fascinating lives that I think need to be given to the world. But that is a project for after Divine Games is finished.

I totally get what you're saying. Sometimes you get so caught up in the story that's moving forward, that you forget that your readers don't know the backstory or at least a little bit of the backstory, of the characters.
I've had to slow myself down also to scribble out some random notes about why this character is doing such thing. But anyway, keep writing!
