She started walking along the water line. The Trolls kept pace on the other side. She knew eventually they would have to deal with them. Trolls are a bitch to kill. And in the Veil nothing stays dead for long. And it’s not like they can turn them to stone in the sunlight since it’s permanently twilight here.
“Mystic! We see you!”
“Good job ass hat. You can see.”
The leader roared at her as his buddies laughed.
“I’m going to roast your Dweorg friend alive. I bet he would taste amazing.”
“Good luck. He’s old and tough. Have at him.”
“Hey!”
“Oh you know I wouldn’t give you up that easily.”
